I work in person in Wellington, and online with workplaces, groups and individuals of all ages and circumstances. My passion is to support people to live wholehearted, fulfilled and connected lives.

I see that compassionate and clear communication is fundamental to healthy relationships, the ones we have with ourselves, and others. Communication and mindfulness coaching can support you to understand what your needs and drivers are, to live in alignment with these core needs, and to communicate these to others in your world. 

 
Legally trained, I am an accredited mediator with the Resolution Institute NZ. With over  25+ years of personal study and practice in mindfulness and meditation, training in Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry Coaching Method, Non-Violent Communication, Needs-Based Coaching,  yoga, meditation, and breath-work practices.

Workshops and Workplace Training

Every workplace and every team has its unique needs and challenges.  Let's work together to create bespoke courses tailored to the specific needs of your people. The workplace mindfulness and wellbeing programmes focus on providing practical tools and strategies for the circumstances your team and workplace are experiencing.

 

Some topics that might be included are; communication tools and practices, ways to receive and provide feedback, tools to support mental wellbeing, ways of coping with stress and overwhelm, improving communication, and team-building practices in your workplace. ​

Mediation and Facilitated Conversations

Mediation is a method of dispute resolution that brings parties to a dispute or situation together  to discuss, understand differences in perspectives, to brainstorm solutions, and to work towards ways forward that parties agree to. 

​

Mediation includes pre-mediation coaching and can include communication coaching to support preparation for mediation. 

​​

In mediation, a mediators role is to support and facilitate dialogue, helping parties to explore solutions that work for those involved and impacted.  

​

A typical mediation process involves an intake call, a pre-mediation session with each party separately, then joint sessions where all parties and the mediator is in the room. 

​

A mediated agreement may be requested by the parties if agreement is reached. 

Prices start from $265 per hour.

Initially I started seeing Helen as part of a course to help with breathing for speech delivery, and came away with so much more.

 

I don’t enjoy being front and centre of a room so get anxious in advance, an issue around confidence not performance. We explored the why of that through self-reflection and mindfulness and  I’ve discovered so much more about myself, my values, and my drivers.
